POWER-CON invites all members of the media who are involved in pop culture, comics, collectibles, and the entertainment industry to register. Press members can be individual contractors/professionals or major media company employees. All individuals or media subsidiaries must agree to the rules, regulations and requirements listed below and in our application.
July 5, 2019 is the last day to register for a Press badge for Power-Con.
Each application will be judged on a case-by-case basis. All incomplete applications will be denied. POWER-CON reserves the right to approve or deny any application at its discretion, without reason.
Accepted applicants will receive a complimentary press pass. An additional complimentary press pass may be requested for an attending colleague there to assist (such as a reporter, camera operator, etc). General attendance passes can also be purchased here online via our website, or at the door. Press Passes will not be mailed out and are available for pick up the day of the show. Accepted Press Applicants must show a valid ID at registration to receive passes.
If wish to obtain a Power Pass and/or any of the Power-Con exclusives, you must purchase these ahead of time! Please note that if you don’t purchase a Power Pass, you must still purchase a Saturday, Sunday, or Weekend pass in order to also purchase any of the Power-Con exclusives. After you place your pre-order for exclusives, be sure to include your order number when you contact us to apply for a press pass. Approved Press applicants will be refunded the cost of their Attendee pass (with the exception of a Power Pass purchase, where they will instead receive a partial refund comparable to the cost of a regular Weekend pass).
